Hello! Today I am taking part in a couple of challenges, these are great for giving your craft mojo a bit of a jump start. The card I have made ties in with Colour Throwdown #277 and the sketch inspiration comes from Pals Paper Arts, click on either of the pictures below to visit these challenge blogs and see what the design teams have been upto.
So here’s my take on these two challenges
I've created a tab edge file card using the envelope punch board and as you can see I have changed panel 4 in the sketch for a tag made using the new scalloped tag topper punch – I love this punch! This card is basically a standard UK size A6 with a few cut outs so it fits a regular envelope. My pink is actually Strawberry Slush as Regal Rose is no longer current so I don’t own any. The sentiment is from the hostess exclusive set ‘Express Yourself’ I have used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to make sure I positioned it perfectly. Later this week I hope to have another tip video to share with you.
For the strip across the card I have used a piece of Baked Brown Sugar card stock with 2 strips of Watercolour Wonder Washi tape stuck to it. This almost creates your very own patterned piece! The stamp set is from this years’ Sale-A-Bration offering, it’s called Petal Parade and if you spend £45 before the end of March you can get it for FREE!
The inside even got a bit of love too, I punched a panel that was just slightly smaller so that it would give a border.
