Hello! There is something really satisfying about blogging more regularly, if you have been following my recent posts you will know that I have found a few challenge blogs to help with my inspiration. I would definitely recommend them if you are feeling like you are in a bit of a slump.
Today I am going to share a couple of Birthday Cards with you, I had the idea for the first one a few days ago and the second one kinda happened by mistake :)
On Monday I shared this sneaky little picture, bright and cheery and lots of fun!
Whilst Daisy was having a sleep (not something that happens everyday anymore) I made the most of the time and whipped up a couple of really cute little cards using the Sale-A-Bration stamp set and coordinating punch. Remember you earn a free SAB item with every £45 spent before the end of March. You can view the SAB brochure by clicking on it in the sidebar. This is the first card of the pair
To get the different lengths on the punched pieces I just trimmed them with my snips. The sentiment is actually from Itty Bitty Banners, I have used my Basic Black marker to colour in just the text. To make sure I got it in just the right place I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig. The inside got a little bit of love too, I used the straight edges instead of the ‘tails’
So I had everything out, I was having fun… why not make another card? I turned this one 90 degrees, moved the sentiment slightly and added a bit of twine – what do you think?
Again the inside got a little bit of love :)
Finally here they are together, which do you prefer?
