You’re lovely… for colouring in

Hello!  It’s half term here in the UK so Thomas isn’t at school, and Hubby is not working either, Daisy and I have left the ‘boys’ at home and come to visit a very good friend.  Beth and I have been crafting together for 15 years and she’s also one of my team of Dazzlin’ Daisies.  We had a lovely day yesterday, painting, getting inky and making pizza for dinner.  At bed time Daisy said to me “ We had a lovely busy day today Mummy, I’m going to sleep lots!”  Don’t you just love the way little ones process their day!

Now onto the crafting!  I’ve been playing with colouring in stamped images a lot lately, I really enjoy how easy it is to create pretty images using my inkpads and blender pens.  The card I am sharing today is another using the SAB stamp set You’re Lovely.  Remember for every £45 order you place between now and March 31st you can choose a FREE gift!  I went for a very clean and simple card, what do you think?  I deliberated for a good ten minutes whether or not it needed ‘something more’ a bit of ribbon or some rhinestones maybe?  In the end I left it and I think I like it.  I think I will make packs up to sell at an upcoming craft fair, they’d make cute little note cards.

Here’s a close up so you can see the colouring in a bit better.  I’ve used gumball green, pumpkin pie and crushed curry for the flowers and soft sky to go around the image.
