Scrapbook Saturday

Happy Saturday folks!  It’s a bit of a windy one here in Northampton but I am very grateful that we are not really all that affected by the winds and floods as others in the UK have been.  I didn’t get around to blogging yesterday as I had very important Mummy duties during the day.  Daisy and I were very busy playing in the morning and it was Thomas’ celebration assembly at school in the afternoon.  The choir got their awards for winning the competition and they sang their winning songs too.  As it was valentine’s day Hubby and I had a ‘grown up’ meal and watched a film together once the children were in bed.  A very yummy end to a fab Friday!

Today I am going to share a couple of pages that were produced at this month’s Scrapbook Club.  Last week I shared my layout, today I will share layouts from my down-line Georgie and also the very talented Larraine.  We've been running the group for over 2 years now and Larraine is one of our original members.

First up is Georgie’s layout, we both design a double page spread using the same kit, the group then use these as a start point  for inspiration.  I love her use of texture on the top note shape and the little touches of glimmer that the small hearts and the sequins add too.

Can you spot the gold foil top on the scalloped tag topper punch?  How cute is that?

I really like Larraine’s beautiful layout, it amazes me how many different things that we can come up with when we all start from the same point.   The butterflies and hearts add real interest and texture to the page.

I love the banner too and the stamping on the doily to echo the stamping down the side of the page.
