Gift bag and tag

Today I am sharing something from the ‘archives’ that is to say a picture I found on the computer that I haven’t shared already.  There are quite a few!

So here goes, a very simple gift bag which I embellished with the lovely gingham garden washi tape and a little coordinating melon mambo 1/8” ribbon.  The tag is made with the Five-way flower stamp and the coordinating scallop punches.  The bag contains lots of lovelies for a customer of mine bought by her Daughter as a birthday gift.

Seasonal Catalogue Blog Hop

Good morning!  No ‘Scrapbook Saturday’ today, instead I am joining in with a bloghop with some fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.  The new seasonal catalogue has been live for a while now so we are all sharing some makes with the new lovelies from that.

So you may have come here from Fiona’s blog a lovely card Fiona, with my favourite bling!
Last Wednesday I had the honour of presenting at the Creative tour event in Loughborough.  I really enjoy Stampin’ Up! events and was blown away that they asked me to do this.  The theme was ‘Makes for your Christmas events’.

One of the things I talked about was streamlining planning by using a limited bundle of product each month, so using items that co-ordinate with the Season of Style range I set to work designing.

This is a simple make and take card showcasing the ‘faux silk’ technique, I love the texture that it gives.

Secondly here is a stepped up version of the card.  I’ve added extra dimension by popping in a raised layer of textured card and some bling in the form of silver ribbon, rhinestones, and the beautiful Frosted Finishes embellishment, this is actually removable when you untie the bow.

Stamp a stack cards

Back in July my monthly workshop was a ‘Stamp a Stack’ session. We did 10 cards (2 different cards for 5 stamp sets) using some of the new product from the seasonal catalogue.  I don’t know how but I managed to forget to blog them so I thought I’d show you some of the cards today!  A lot of my inspiration came from the internet but as it’s a long time since I prepped for this class I don’t have my notes, if you think the design is based on one of yours let me know and I will add a link in for you :)

First up, a feminine card using Gorgeous Grunge and Chalk Talk with the coordinating dies.  The colours are Coastal Cabana, Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry and Strawberry Slush.

Next up a card featuring the gorgeous Wildflower Meadow stamp and the coordinating embossing folder. I remember that this was based on a design by Vicky I changed the colours up a bit using Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe on a Whisper White base.

Today’s last card showcases lots of new product! Washi tape, candy dots, the new Lalbel Love stamp set and coordinating Artisan label punch.  I love that you can create mats by using the same punch!
