Autumn/Winter seasonal Blog Hop!

Good morning!

Today is my gorgeous daughter Daisy’s 3rd Birthday so it will be a quick post as I am actually typing this post whilst I am also sorting out a Peppa Pig cake!

On Friday the new seasonal catalogue went live and today I am taking part in a blog hop with some members of my team so that we can showcase the  beautiful items that are available.  If you are already hopping you will have come here from Beth's blog.  I recently spent some lovely time with my upline Monica and my downline Beth.  We had a lovely crafty time and played with the new banner kits.  This is my creation.

I am so pleased with it, I actually think that it may be my favourite EVER make!  I've used the new bow die as well as the festive flurry stamp set and co-ordinating framelits.  I hope that you can see enough from these pictures, I have also used some of the new 1 inch cherry cobbler ribbon and the burlap trim too!

I hope that you have enjoyed my post today, next stop on the bloghop is Val so click here

Another late Scrapbook Saturday!

Hello!  With the summer holidays my crafting has been relegated a little, and my blogging is further down the list – sorry.  Well the children are playing in the garden and I was sat here watching them so I thought I’d sneak in a quick post.  It’s been about a week since my last post, and I had meant to fit one in midweek as well as Saturday. Oh well, we are enjoying the time that we get to spend together.  Hubby is a teacher so we are very lucky that he is here with us to enjoy most of the summer too!

Onto crafting, I have lots of pictures ready to blog but today I will share the layout from last month’s scrapbook club, I really enjoy these sessions and it’s lovely that we are getting some new crafters join us too!

Georgie (who runs the group with me) and I wanted to start with all white and see where it took us.  We had cardstock, vellum, ribbon & rhinestones.  After a skype session to discuss layouts we settled on a sketch and started playing.

My Daughter (on the left) and my niece (right) at my Sister’s wedding last October.  I've used sponges and 3 different inks (blushing bride, crisp cantaloupe, and calypso coral)  to create a graduated effect on the centre panel which is then stamped with versamark and heat embossed with white powder.  The flowers were stamped and heat embossed on vellum, which I coloured again using sponges.

The second page featuring one of my favourite pictures from the day :)  Can you see the embossed vellum panel at the bottom?

A close up shot showing the detail, I added a bit of ‘bling’ too!

Finally the two pages together.  It was great to see how different the pages came out on the night depending on the colours used, I’ll try and get some pictures to share with you.

Scrapbook Saturday

A later post than I meant today – sorry.  I actually have another digital page to share with you.  I am really looking forward to the full launch of My Digital Studio.  Initially I wasn’t sure that I’d like it from a crafting point of view but could see the use from a business point of view – maybe you noticed the update to my blog a while ago?  Anyhow as a demonstrator things get launched to us earlier so I took the plunge and have been playing, it’s not quite love yet but it’s definitely growing on me.

So here’s a layout featuring a couple of pictures from my recent holiday with Thomas, Daisy, My Sister and her two at our Dad’s in Germany.  We love Franco’s it’s only a 5 minute walk from Dad’s house and they make all there ice cream fresh with real ingredients for flavour and they have almost any flavour you can think of.  It’s really hard to choose, scoops of sundaes???  The sundaes are HUGE!  They even do ‘spaghetti eis’ and make it look like a plate of real spaghetti, this is what Thomas chose on this visit.

My Project 4-001

As the pictures are taken at an ice cream parlour I thought this years new in colours would be perfect as the beautiful pastel tones scream ice cream to me.  I've played with the re-colour option to create the dsp strip in Coastal Cabana.  I also used the colour tools to add colour just to the ice cream on top of the ‘stamped’ cones.

Team training makes – part 1

Good morning!  Once a quarter my fab upline Monica and the very talented Bekka organise a team training session.  We get together, share ideas, have business training, and mostly have fun!  I was actually away for the July session but I did get a kit and had lots of fun making the projects :)

This is a cute gift wrap idea using the new bags and some of the great new colours.

The colours are Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Strawberry Slush.  I also used the new Flower Shop stamp set with coordinating punch and the new Chalk talk set with the matching framelits.

Lego Cards

Hello! I had some posts scheduled for the weekend but they have disappeared into the ether!  In the absence of those today I am going to share the birthday cards I made for my son ant the beginning of July.  Thomas is lego MAD so only really one way I could go with his cards.

First up a lego ‘8’  I’ve used my 1” square punch and the circle from the itty bitty punch pack along with lots of dimensionals!

Next up the card that Daisy gave to her big brother, when she saw what I was doing she told me that she wanted to do one too :) So with a little bit of help from Mummy that’s what she did, I wish I’d managed to photograph it sooner though as you can see that her chocolatey finger prints managed to make an appearance!

Gorgeous Grunge!

Happy Friday!  I can’t believe we’ve already had two weeks of the summer holidays :(  Still lots of lovely new craft goodies for me to play with!

I absolutely LOVE this new stamp set!  Today I want to share two masculine cards with you, both are for my teenage cousins.

First, an 18th Birthday card.  An A5 card base in island indigo, then I just went for it with the stamp set.  Colours are Island Indigo, Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Summer Starfruit.  I’ve also used a bit of This & That washi  tape as it was out on my workspace and I love it too!

Next up a 13cm square card.  This time I’ve used a Sahara Sand base.  The inks are Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Sahara Sand and a touch of Basic Grey for the sentiment.  Again I’ve added a bit of washi tape.
